ThermalDynamics is a pioneer in development of plasma cutting systems.  Due to a number of patents and development coming form ThermalDynamics  today we have a plasma cutting solutions on such high level. 

ThermalDynamics plasma systems are divided in 3 series: UltraCut, AutoCut and Cutmaster.  This systems provide excellent cut performance, great relibility and low operational cost. 

Advanced technology such as OptiHole, OptiBevel and WMS (water mist secondary) cuttin on non ferrous metal provide best quality and performance.

The Ultra-Cut® XT technology provides the next generation of higher productivity, increased flexibility and confidence in high precision plasma cutting. Ultra-Cut XT systems give the flexibility to increase cutting power and the assurance of superior quality, higher productivity and lower cutting costs. Ultra-Cut XT systems are available in 130 to 400 Amp outputs for cutting plate up to 2″ (50 mm) thick. The Auto-Cut XT systems deliver the next step in flexibility and reliability in heavy plate cutting applications. Auto-Cut 200 XT & 300 XT systems deliver premium cut performance on both mild steel and non-ferrous metals. These power supplies are designed for reliable, low cost operation. The A-Series includes the SL100® SV 1Torch® with standard ATC Quick Disconnect in lengths of 25 ft. (7.6 m), 35 ft. (10.7 m) and 50 ft. (15.2 m) (Longer torch leads up to 100 ft. (30.5 m) available). The 1Torch start technology eliminates the electronic interference that can occur with other designs. 1Torch provides quick, reliable starts and a strong pilot arc to pierce heavy plate. With auto-pilot restart, it can also cut expanded metal quickly and easily. With all the advantages of 1Torch and proven reliability, the automated A-Series delivers the best in productivity, precision and performance.

OptiHole technology is available on UltraCut plasma systems and machines with excellent kinematics such as IXO HD and EON HD.


OptiBevel is a solution from ThermalDynamics for a perfect bevel cut quality with UltraCut systems. In integrates all cut parameters and processes into unique solution that is tested, proven and will give you best bevel cut repeatably. 

WMS – Water mist secondary – unique process of cutting non ferrous metal using nitrogen and water. This proces provides unbeatable cut quality, no dross, no deformation of part and higher cutting speed then standard plasma cutting of this demanding materials.

The Powermax® family of products consists of seven highly portable, professional grade air plasma cutting and gouging systems. As part of Hypertherm’s SureCut™ technology, our patented True Hole® technology for mild steel produces significantly better hole quality than what has been previously possible using plasma. It is exclusively available for use in conjunction with Hypertherm’s HPRXD® and XPR® auto gas plasma systems including the XPR300® system.

True Hole is automatically applied by the nesting software or CNC software to thicknesses up to 25 mm (1”), diameter and hole coverage ranges from hole diameter to thickness ratios from 2:1 to as low as 1:1.

True Bevel™ technology for HPRXD®  and XPR™ plasma systems is a performance application for mild steel. Factory tested and easily implemented, it takes the guesswork out of the plasma bevel-cutting process. With True Bevel, setups for new jobs are quick and results are accurate and consistent.

One of the most flexible and most powerful high-precision plasma cutting units worldwide. Its wide cutting range from 0.5 mm to 120 mm means considerably higher flexibility. The inverter technology allows the highest marking quality and functionality. The HiFocus is ideally suited for steel service centers, steel producers and distributors. With HiFocus neo the user benefits, compared to competitors, from higher speeds when cutting and marking electrically conductive materials, ensuring at the same time excellent quality and low process costs. Thanks to optimised technology, the consumables are handled gently and the plasma cutting process is more efficient. The HiFocus neo is also available for underwater cutting. The HiFocus  neo is available as standard with the Contour Cut Technology for cutting fine inner and outer contours and small holes in mild steel. As a further development of the Contour Cut technology the new Silent Cut technology reduces the sound pressure level by up to 15 dB(A) during cutting. 


Smart Focus series achieve excellent results in the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm. Even under challenging conditions highest cutting quality and speed are realised. In such cases we use our well-proven cutting technologies, e.g. Contour Cut for cutting mild steel. The optimised gas control units and torches protect the consumables, reduce the gas consumption and, thus, the costs per cutting metre. As a further development of the Contour Cut technology the new Silent Cut technology reduces the sound pressure level by up to 15 dB(A) during cutting with currents between 60 and 160 A.

3D bevel is demanding cutting proces that requires a lot of knowledge and expirience. With Perfectbevel technology from Kjellberg and our EON HD machines we provide ecellent solution for bevel cutting with plasma – solution that is reliable and easy to use. 


SilentCut unique technology developed by Kjellberg to reduce the noise from plasma cutting up to 15dB on cutting midl steel up to 160Amp. 


For marking and cutting of fine, large contours in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass, Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers the compact fibre laser systems of the XFocus series. Being the smallest model of this series, the fibre laser XFocus 1000 cuts precise contours in mild steel with up to 10 mm, stainless steel up to 5 mm, aluminium and brass up to 3 mm and copper up to 2 mm material thickness. The XFocus fibre laser system is a plug-and-play complete solution and is ready to use immediately including process control and complete cutting database for integration into all standard cutting systems and guiding machines. It can be used individually as well as combined with a plasma cutting machine or with other tools. It is excellently suited to be adapted to an existing guiding machine as retrofit. The optimum parameters for the respective guiding machine and cutting task as well as for each material type and thickness are selected from an integrated technology database.
