CAT CNC press brakes combine robust machine construction, precise CNC control, and flexible multi-axis backgauge configurations to deliver accurate and repeatable sheet-metal bending. Designed for small and medium-sized manufacturers, they provide a dependable solution for everyday production, complex parts, and changing bending requirements.
Available in different working lengths, bending forces, and CNC configurations, CAT CNC press brakes can be adapted to a wide range of production needs. Advanced control options, CNC crowning, precise backgauge positioning, and optional tooling and safety systems help reduce setup time, improve bending consistency, and increase overall productivity
The press brake uses synchronized Y1/Y2 ram control to manage the bending movement accurately and consistently. Sheet positioning is handled by a high-strength CNC backgauge system with available X, R, Z and V-axis control, allowing precise positioning of the workpiece for both simple and complex bends. Positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm and an X-axis speed of up to 400 mm/s.
Different bending forces, working lengths, CNC controls, backgauge configurations, tooling systems and safety packages allow the machine to be tailored to the application
